Application Support Engineer - Position

TITLE: Mechanical Engineering Designer & Customer Support

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Customer Support, 2D / 3D Engineering, Rapid Prototyping, 3D Laser Scanning

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Working with Project Engineers

Works with: Engineering Manager
 

 SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Assist Customers with quoting of projects 
  • ProvIde mechanical design/drafting as requested
  • Work with clients to determine solutions that work
  • Prepare sketches and drawings 
  • Provide direction, guidance to clients 
  • Use Solid Works/ 3D Cad modeling, 2D drawings 
  • Manage projects to meet deadlines  
  • Other duties as assigned
     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks, 3D CAD modeling
  • Fluent in GD& T
  • Knowledge of Rapid Prototyping, 3D Laser Scanning and Reverse Engineering would be considered an asset
  • College or University graduate from a Mechanical Engineering or related program
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
